Warriors of The King

Fighting in the valley of the shadow of Death, many they have been wounded.  Many lay upon their mats, nigh to the pains of death.  High King to come, High King to heal...these His wounded ones.

We are His warriors, His stewards in the lands.  Guardians of the Truth, proclaimers of His ways.  We are the wounded warriors, healed by His hands.  We are those who ride through the lands, shrowed in the cover of darkness, proclaiming His kingdom to all who will listen.
We are those who have tasted of Death and still ride.  We are those who have seen the Light of the King.  We are those who carry His banner before the watching world....Ride on, Ride strong, and may His Kingdom Come!

Journey to North Carolina

I was blessed to be one of the speakers at the Gathering this year (I taught on being servant/warriors for God), our first year in North Carolina.  From the time I got off the plane on Friday till I went home on Tuesday... I had never felt so much apart of a family. So much freedom, so much joy....trials come and go...but family remains. I was blessed to get to meet face to face: Donna and Mike, my mentor, Kathi, and friend Mo... Robby could not make it as he was visiting a friend in Texas.  I also meet new friends in Elphie, Steve "Racer", and Rev. Dave.

Every speaker had something to say that the Lord had lain on their hearts.  Worship was out of this world thanks  to Steve "Racer".  Our times of fellowship at The Well were priceless.
For me, just knowing that this is where I belong for sure...out here ministering in the shaddowlands and the open road...was the major key.  I have been out here, in ministry, for almost 5 years...but never till this week-end was I totally, unwaveringly sure...that I had not taken a wrong turn somewhere.  Now I know that this is really what God has lain on my heart..."God be Praised!!!"

Nightstar

I finally fixed my modem on my laptop...two years of pc repair training just paid off! I don't need a new laptop for traveling now.

True, "Nightstar", is still slow as everything...but she works now...and that is the key. I had gotten her working other than the modem about 6 months ago...but just had not had time to tare into her and fix the loss connections. Got that done...and she works again!

My Nightstar is BACK!!!  And just in time for my journey to Charlotte, North Carolina, too...

The Fire Grows

The fire is burning brighter....the embers are growing brighter.  Who knows how soon this will explode?

II Chronicles 7:14 "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

Free Sundays!

Ahhh...how sweet! Free Sundays for 6 weeks! Then back to ISoM in Newton...Still doing classes, just on Mon. and Thur. this time.   I do miss the open road, but not having classes for a while will be a nice brake...

I guess I will just relax, catch up on so reading and bicycling... and dream of the next long journey I set out on!

Still in the Red

My business is still in the red....but we just added historical clothing this week...with a lot more to come.  If all goes well, I will be on the road again soon.

I know a lot of people, or at least some...think that I spend no time in the word.  That traveling is all I think of and the likes.  I am very privet in many ways.  I don't tell nearly as much here as I use to...and I don't share a lot of my spiritual journey except with close, very close friends anymore.  Other than what needs to be known.  ^_^

No chance to go..

I had a chance to go to New Orleans to help with Katrina clean up and relief work, but sadly not enough other young adults were able to gather funds to go.  Alas!!  I wanted to help out so badly; my heart had been braking for the people there since it happened.  I was there Summer 2001, and even did VBS in the 9th Ward.  But, such is not to be, for now anyway...

My Store is Live!

Hey everyone. After spending 5 years shopping around everywhere...I have gotten sick of trying to find everything I want and not coming up with it. ::) So I decided to start hunting down suppliers and start my own store...

Now, at present this is only version 1.0 of the site...and we will be updating a lot with new products. So keep checking in. As well...do any of you have a store you know of  that you think would do a product agreement? Let me know. I will contact them. Do you your self make stuff and want a vendor to sell them in? I am totally willing to sell them.

Thanks and enjoy!!!!

I am 23!

Another year has passed, this one quite interestingly..  I was blessed to find a black wool cape at the thrift store, gain a purple gypsy skirt (from a gift card Grandma left for me!), and got a beautiful Bible with both my given name and my nickname on it... I am so blessed!
It was a beautiful sunny day, and we spent it driving around Wichita, KS... visiting the malls and the local Irish shops.  Then we came home, and had pizza and Boston cream pie, before I went off to church and helped with worship service.  A wonderful day!

Who is this 23 year old woman that I see before me?  She has been through so much.... loss, death, betrayals.... the open road...
She is nearly a stranger to me... I am trying to figure her out.  A traveller gal?  Aye.  A follower of Iosa?  Aye.  A young woman who has survived bitter sorrows?  Aye!  But how does that blend together?  Daddy, what are you doing?

College Begins

Started ISoM last night along with my friend John Meadows.  It was awesome.  I love being a student again.  I have missed it soo much.  The other thing is, Newton is an hour away and I get a wee bit of the open road... it is a nice hold over.  I especially enjoy begin out of the city and seeing the night skies with all it's stars.

I am not using my cane right now.  Still have it around.  ^_^  I am just kinda out of it.  No clue why.  Things are going well, other than Chas and Kayla moving off.  Still miss them, most likely always will...

Oh, I just realized, I forgot to say that John is one of my good, close guy friends who returned to the Lord last year...  He is like a brother to me, and a joy to have around.  He is the pastor's son, I am the assistant pastor's daughter... we grew up together.  It is nice to gain a trust guy friend, as there are so few around...

Friends Moving

My two best gal friends at church are leaving first thing in the morn with their family to live in Oklahoma.....down in Cherokee Nation.

I am glad for them....but depressed for me.   *La sigh!*  I will miss them...  They get to go on the open road at least.  ^_^
