Didean

"Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares."
Hebrews 13:2 (ESV)

Today marks a momentous day for me... I have bought a building to become our haven for travelers and at risk young adults... our "Didean" (Irish for safe haven or shelter).

Robby just came in on a bus to serve as a the grounds keeper for Didean, and the Hurd family will be moving in July 4th weekend.  This is good, as work will only alow me to be at Didean on weekends and days off.  What joy is mine!  What blessings are ours!  Now we can aid other travellers on their journeys....
Below are our plans for the house!

Chapel

The Chapel is made up of two large rooms operated by large Victorian double doors.  It is in this room most of the after-school activities and classes will take place as well as the weekly subculture worship service.

The Parlor
The is set off just to the side of the Chapel and serves as a library, study, and tv room.  It is a place for hanging out together.  It is the gateway to the bathroom.  ^_~

Kitchen
The Kitchen in what was once the parlor room of Didean.  It is here that all the snacks and goodies for the gatherings are made.  It also serves as the staff dinning room.

Grounds Keepers Bedroom
The Grounds Keeper's Bedroom  sits in the back of Didean in the old kitchen.  It will be a dark, comforting room perfect for a nights rest, and set far apart from the traveller gal's room upstairs.  It also will be the and is the entrance to both the backyard/parking area and the basement.
The Upstairs
The Upstairs will house my room (with extra bunks for other traveller gals), and the rooms for the host family, the Hurds.  It also has a half bath.
